The Positive Results Corporation

We collaborate w/ youth groups, community based org, non-profits, law enforcement & schools to teach violence prevention & awareness, healthy relationships & leadership, to develop healthy, positive Leaders. We also host our signature event, STOP THE PAIN, yearly, which brings diverse groups of youth together for a day of honest & respectful dialoge. Until we truthfully & fully discuss the issues, we cannot solve the problems. Our signature workshop, Always A Lady, addresses the emotional, financial, mental, physical and social issues young ladies face today. We recently started a youth council & mentor leadership/advocate training program. Peer to peer trainings & conversations to support each other. No more Eyes Wide Shut! Stop the Pain!

Why does your organization need this fundraiser event?

To get the message of “STOP THE PAIN” out! Violence affects every home, person & family regardless of race, religion, finances & location. Violence starts at home, in too many cases, from birth. Too many children, youth & families suffer from violence, which is preventable. We will use funds to host STOP THE PAIN on a quarterly basis, in various areas of the County of L.A. We will also increase our Youth Council Teen Reps & provide more training to Youth Mentor & Peer Advocates. Youth Leadership

Sanctuary of Hope is an amazing program for which I am excited and honored to collaborate. To be able to touch a person and see them being all that they want and more than they dreamed is HUGE!!! That is making a real difference. You have to see change, feel change and believe that you are worthy for the real change to begin! The picture above is from our signature event, STOP THE PAIN, A Teen Summit on Dating Violence & Bully Prevention. Over 850 people, 620 of which were youth attended this event from all over Sounthern California! We collaborate with schools, community groups, non-profts, governmental agencies and family. No one should suffer abuse, in any form!

PRC teaches leadership and character development to prevent (exposure) to violence and high risk behaviors. We target dating, domestic and sexual violence, and bullying because these affect people of all ages and backgrounds. We believe that building a better inner you will reduce violent actions or environments and foster better awareness for our communities and families.
